Major General B.K.G.M.L Rodrigo RSP psc IG, Commandant of Defence Services Command and Staff College and Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA), expressed appreciation for the achievements of the Regiment Firing Team on 27 January 2024. The team secured the runner-up position in the Inter-Regiment Combat Firing meet - 2023, which took place in Diytalawa. The commendation ceremony was held at the Regimental center.
During the event, Colonel Commandant presented commendation letters to each member of the Regiment Firing Team. This gesture was a token of recognition for their exceptional commitment and dedication to the Regiment. The commendation letters emphasized the team's significant contribution to the Regiment, highlighting their outstanding performance in the competition.
