Sinha Mela ‘Raffle Draw - 2020’ Picks Winners

The raffle draw of the ‘Sinha Mela Education Trade and Musical Extravaganza’ of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment got underway on Friday (31) at the Regimental HQ of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) at Ambepussa, chaired by Commander Security Forces - West and Colonel of the Regiment, SLSR Major General Jayantha Seneviratne who graced as the Chief Guest.

SLSR organizes this event every year in order to assist differently able war heroes and their families and was scheduled to be held on a grand scale at the Public Ground- Warakapola during 3-5 April but had to be cancelled as per health guidelines and restrictions with the outbreak of COVID - 19 pandemic in the country.

The ceremony for the raffle lottery draw, coloured with fun-making features, presented by artists, like Mrs Susila Kottage and Mr. Rahal Bulathsinhala saw the day's Chief Guest and other invitees pick winners in the lottery draw.

The Center Commandant, Commanding Officers, limited numbers of senior Officers, Staff Officers and Other Ranks of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment participated in the event. Among those who attended the ceremony were leading citizens in Warakapola and Mirigama areas. Here follow winners:
