Signallers Work Round the Clock for Vaccination Data Entries

Troops of the 11 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) are currently in the process of updating statistics, data, particulars and other details of island-wide recipients of COVID-19 jabs while committing to the task in the past few months as per directions of General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak.

All information, related to Army-managed vaccination centres in the western province are inserted throughout all 24 hours, together with the support of medical teams while providing technical assistance. Bio data of vaccinated population in order to be inserted into a database is also thus collected in an effective manner.

On the instructions of Major General Ashoka Peiris, Chief Signal Officer and Brigadier K.C Prathapasingha, Director Information Technology, Lieutenant Colonel S.D Kotelawala, Commanding Officer of the 11 SLSC with the troops are committed to this task for the betterment of the nation.
