The Signal Brigade of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) celebrated its 35th anniversary on 1 June at the Signal Brigade HQ premises in Panagoda with the participation of Colonel H.D.J.P Weerathunga, Commander, Signal Brigade.
In accordance with the long-lasting military traditions, troops of Signal Brigade presented a Guard Turnout to Colonel H.D.J.P Weerathunga, Commander of Signal Brigade on his arrival. Afterwards, a customary troops’ address and an All Rank refreshments followed.
On the following day (2), troops of the Signal Brigade offered a delicious lunch to children in Meegoda Mahabodhi Children’s Home and donated some essential items to the Children’s Home.
