Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-W) organized a ‘Shramadana’ campaign to clean up the school premises and its surroundings at the Sri Parakrama Maha Vidyalaya in Panagoda to coincide with the 69th Independence Day celebrations on Friday (3).
The ‘Shramadana’ campaign was organized in response to a request made by the principal to the Commander Security Forces - West.
58 Other Ranks belonging to 14 Division, Sri Lanka Artillery, Sri Lanka Signal Corps, Sri Lanka Light Infantry and Sri Lanka Army Service Corps actively took part in the ‘Shramadana’ campaign and cleaned the school premises and the buildings.
After the ‘Shramadana’ campaign, the principal on behalf of the teachers and the children of the school extended his gratitude to the Commander of the Army and all personnel of the Army for cleaning the school premises.
