Security Force Headquarters-West (SFHQ-West) organized a medical clinic on Cardiac complications for the benefit of the people in Nikaweratiya area, with the assistance from Asiri Surgical Hospital, at Nikaweratiya Jayathi Maha Vidyalaya on Thursday(30) under the directions of Major General U.A.B Medawala, Commander, SFHQ-West.
Indian Cardiologist, Dr. Guptha and his medical staff of the Asiri Surgical Hospital, together with the medical staff from Nikaweratiya and Puttalam Teaching Hospitals examined the patients closely and referred for further treatments. About 400 patients were examined in the clinic.
Colonel Vipula Pananwala, Commander, 143 Brigade and several officers serving the SFHQ-West were associated with the inauguration of the clinic.
