SFHQ-West Commander Visits Katukeliyawa Battalion Training School

Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Forces - West (SF-West) made a formal visit to the Battalion Training School, Katukeliyawa under the SFHQ-West on Sunday (25) where 6 Gemunu Watch (6 GW) troops are undergoing training.

On arrival, the visiting Commander, SF-West was honoured in a formal Guard Turnout at the Battalion Training School entrance.

During the visit, the Commanding Officer, 6 GW briefly explained the visiting Senior Officer about the ongoing Battalion Training course in the school.

Furthermore, the visiting Commander had a word with course attendees regarding their facilities and accessories.

An all rank tea party brought the event to an end.

58 Division Headquarters has provided all necessary information requirements for the trainees.

Brigadier M. A. A. D Sirinaga, Brigadier Admin & Quartering, Brigadier J Thanthiriwaththa, Brigadier General Staff, SFHQ-West together with senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the day’s event.
