The 23rd anniversary of the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni was marked during 16 - 18 March with a series of events, organized on the guidelines given by Major General Hemantha Bandara, Commander, Security Forces - Wanni.
Those events included friendly sports and games among troops, distribution of books and school accessories to students, visit to the ‘Abimansala - 1’, commemoration of War Heroes, troops address, lunch with All Ranks, tree planting and several other civil community projects after religious blessings were prioritized.
A ‘Pirith’ chanting ceremony on 16 March and an alms-giving for 20 Buddhist monks on the following day marked the commencement of the anniversary events. Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers of under command Battalions with a large number of Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks took part in those ceremonies.
As the culmination of the celebrations, an all rank lunch was organized at the Private mess with the presence of Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, Brigadier General Staff & Brigadier Administration and Quartering of the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni and many other officers and Other Ranks.jordan Sneakers | Klær Nike
