Commander Security Forces- Wanni Major General Dhammika Jayasinghe on Thursday (06) distributed 1000 PPE kits and 1000 face masks among Brigade Commanders who manage the Quarantine Centers (QCs) at Pampeimadu, Periyakadu, Bogoda, Field Hospital and other medical installations in all under command formations of the SFHQ -Wanni.
The ICRC, appreciative of the services of the Army-managed QCs patronized the PPEs and face masks, donated the stock to the Security Force Headquarters -Wanni who are engaged in the fight against the spread of the epidemic.
Brigade Commanders of 562, 563 Brigade and the Chief Instructor at Battalion Training School Bogoda were present to receive these stocks from the Commander Security Forces- Wanni, Major General Dhammika Jayasinghe.
