Troops of the Security Forces Headquarters South (SFHQ-S) with the support of respective Divisions, Brigades and all field formations carried out Dengue eradication programme on Thursday (26) covering a number of areas.
Hundreds of troops cleaned up Embilipitiya, Minipe, Gampola, Awissawella, Tissamaharamaya, Kamburupitiya, Ratkarauwa, Dehemigama, Kalugalawatta, Kiriwandala, Pannegamuwa, Weeravila, Bubulewela and several other areas during their project.
Meanwhile, 52 Division troops serving Point Pedro, Mirusuvil and Nunavil areas with a view to eradicating Dengue epidemic conducted inspections on public school buildings, temples and other common places in the recent past.
