On the directions and the coordination of Major General Jagath Dias, Commander, Security Force Headquarters Mullaithivu (SFHQ-MLT) a series of educational seminars for Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination students in Mullaithivu District were arranged. As a part of this programme, a special seminar on Science Subjects in Tamil Medium was conducted at Pudukuduirippu Central Collage, Mullaithivu on Sunday (12).
Ven. Dr. Gunarathna Thero, Lankaramaya, Singapore was the sponsor for the programme and the series of seminars were contributed to by experienced teachers at Isipathana Collage, Colombo.
314 students participated in the seminar from 10 schools in 681, 682 and 683 Brigades under the 68 Division area in the SFHQ-MLT. General Officer Commanding (GOC), 68 Division and senior officer attended inauguration.
