Members of the Kelaniya Rotary Club at the request of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) offered their assistance and provided electricity and drinking water facilities to two schools in the area.
The project of those Rotarians accordingly installed a new electricity system to Kilinochchi Nagendra Primary School and inaugurated the new drinking water project at Kilinochchi St Anthony’s Roman Catholic Primary School, spending a few lakhs of rupees.
On Thursday (10), General Officer Commanding 57 Division, Mrs G Gunawardane, Chairperson, Kelaniya Rotary Club and several Rotarians participated in the inauguration of both these projects amid teachers, students and parents.
