Award of appreciative certificates for those who contributed to the conduct of Vesak arrangements in Kilinochchi Madya Maha Vidyalaya premises during the Vesak season, took place in a separate ceremony on Wednesday (11) at the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) auditorium.
SFHQ-KLN organized a bilingual (Sinhala and Tamil) devotional song recital (Bakthi Gee), erection of the Thorana (pandol), production of colourful Vesak lanterns and Dansel (free eateries) during the Vesak and attracted thousands of spectators.
Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-KLN awarded those certificates and appreciated the contribution of all those who supported the project in various ways.
