To coincide with the Independence Day, woman soldiers of 7 Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) on the directions of Major General Mahesh Senanayaka, Commander - Security Forces (SF - J), went to see patients at the Thelippalai Cancer Hospital.
Those soldiers during the visit offered gift parcels to 26 patients, each worth Rs. 2,500/=.
During the visit, Major Geetha Rankothge, Commanding Officer 7 SLAWC, Officers and other rankers interacted with them and exchanged views and pleasantries with the patients. In addition, a music band of the Army entertained the patients during the arrangement.
