Troops of Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ - J) organized a Milk Rice Dansela on account of the ‘Duruthu Full Moon Poya Day’ at the Thissa Viharaya, Kankasenthurai on 25 January 2024.
This was organized under the guidance of Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander, SF - J and more than 600 devotees were served during the Dansela.
Meanwhile, troops took part in the Bodhi Pooja held at SFHQ-J premises. Ven. Meegahajandure Sriwimala Thero, the Chief Incumbent at the Sri Nagaviharaya, imparted a significant Dhamma Sermon during the ceremony. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and civil staff were present during the event.
