Troops at the 23 Division serving under the Security Force Headquarters – East (SFHQ-E) organized an awareness programme on ‘Water Consumption and Management’ as per instructions of Major General D.D.U.K Hettiarachchi, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 23 Division last Thursday (10).
The lecture session on ‘Water Consumption and Management’ was conducted by Mr U.K.M Musajeth, the Chief Engineer and several staff members at National Water Supply and Drainage Board, Eastern Province.
Major General D.D.U.K Hettiarachchi, GOC at 23 Division, together with a total of 260 Army personnel including 20 officers and 240 other ranks representing under command Brigades and Battalions listened to the lecture.
