SFHQ-East Offers Alms on account of Poson

To coincide with the Poson Full Moon Poya Day, SFHQ -East troops under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces-East, Major General Senarath Bandara, offered alms to the monks at the Welikanda Buddhist Centre on Friday (5) on account of the Poson Day.

The chief incumbent of the Buddhist Centre Welikanda, Ven. Delwita Meththalankara Thera conducted religious observances and invoked blessings on the troops, engaged in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in the Eastern theatre and appreciated their invaluable services, being rendered at this critical moment.
