SFHQ-East and 24 Infantry Division Bid Farewell to Outgoing Commander, Security Forces (East)

The troops of the Security Forces Headquarters-East (SFHQ-East) and the 24 Infantry Division bade farewell to Major General S.A. Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, the outgoing Commander, Security Forces (East), during ceremony held on 23 November and 03 December 2024.

On 03 December 2024, the outgoing Commander Security Forces (East) was accorded with a ceremonial Guard Turnout and Guard of Honor at SFHQ-East. Then he planted a sapling at the camp premises, posed for group photographs and participated in the opening of a new Lecture Hall. Subsequently he attends troop address and All-Ranks tea.

On 23 November 2024, the troops of 24 Infantry Division honoured the outgoing Commander, Security Forces (East) with a Guard Turnout and a reception at the General Officer Commanding’s office. Then he addressed the troops, planted a sapling, and posed for a group photograph. The farewell concluded with the presentation of a memento and All Ranks tea party.
