SFHQ-E Conducts More Community Projects

On the directions of the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E), troops serving 221, 222, 232, 233 Brigades under 22 and 23 Divisions of the SFHQ-E in the past few days, conducted more community projects for the benefit of the general public in the east.  
 
A representative group of 11 Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) troops under the 233 Bridge, hosted pre-school students at Bogamuyaya to breakfast and spent a few hours with those kids.
 
In the meantime, troops of 8 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) under the 232 Bridge recently held a medical clinic with the doctors from outside in the general area of Ilukkupathana in Chenkaladi.
 
Meanwhile, 6 Vijayabahu Infantary Regiment (VIR) under the 221 Bridge organized ‘Sharamadana’ campaign to clear the surroundings of Kumburupiddi Navachcholai School, Kuchchweli with the participation of civilians in the area. Similarly they provided labour assistance to the construction of St. Joseph Church at Nilaveli at their request.
 
Recently, 8 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops under the 222 Bridge organized another self-help ‘Sharamadana’ campaign to get rid of garbage surrounding the Murunkan Kovil at Verugal and Karakamunai public well with the support of the general public in the area.
 
In the meantime, 8 Gemunu Watch (GW) troops under the 222 Bridge distributed dry ration packets for 133 needy families and school books for students at Thumpalachcholai Village in Eravurpattu on Thursday (3). On the same day 12 Gajaba Regiment (GR) troops of the 231 Bridge provided lunch to 40 children at Mancaft children orphanage at Thiraimadu, Manmunai area.
