SFHQ Central - Women Soldiers Attend Refresh Course

The Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-Central) introduced its 1st refresher course for women soldiers serving under the SFHQ-Central during 13 - 25 November at Diyatalawa Battalion Training school.

Accordingly, 2 Officers and 72 women soldiers followed the two-week long course. The refresher course is comprised of internal security, firing, first aid, physical training, leadership, etc. Major General W.W.H.R.R.V.M.N.D.K.B Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces- Central gave necessary directions for its successful completion.

The closing ceremony of the course was held on 25 November graced by Brigadier A.A.M.A Abeysinghe RWP RSP USP psc, Brigadier General Staff, SFHQ-Central, Colonel W.A.J Hemachandra RWP RSP psc, Colonel General Staff, SFHQ-Central, Senior Officers and Officers.
