The Army troops, attached to the Security Force Headquarters -Central under the close supervision of Major General Mohan Rathnayake, Commander, Security Forces-Central on request provided manpower and fixing of a parabolic hut to make a mammoth alms-offering project for 1000 monks, held at the Municipal Council grounds in Bandarawela on 21 February.
The Maha Karuna Organization in Malaysia with the support, extended by well-wishers of the said organization took the lead in conducting this meritorious project.
