Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) marked its 6th anniversary with several anniversary projects including sharamadana, Bodhi Pooja, military ceremony and entertaining features.
The programme started with a Shramadana campaign that covered the Diyatalawa Army Base Hospital, church in the town and its suburbs.
The mammoth Shramadana cleaned up the Army Base Hospital and its surroundings before the troops moved into the church in the town with the same intention cleaning it and its adjoining areas.
On the anniversary day (21) SFHQ-Cen troops in a Guard Turnout saluted the Commander, Security Forces - Central, Major General Ruwan De Silva on his arrival at the premises as a formality.
Afterwards, he joined an all rank lunch and shared a few thoughts with the troops present there.
