To be in line with the concept of the ‘Healthy Army Healthy Nation’, the brainchild of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General R.M.D Ratnayake, troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) organized a three-day (Nov 23-25) awareness workshop on ‘Art of Living’ under the directions of Major General Mano Perera, Commander, SFHQ-C at the Torch Cinema at the Sri Lanka Military Academy.
The lecture and its following workshop was conducted by the founder of the ‘Art of Living’ Mr H.H Sri Sri Ravishankar and Mr K.K Ganesh Ji as a new initiative towards making a soldier both physically fit and mentally sound.
The programme was attended by 82 Army personnel serving under SFHQ-C.
