The new regional accounts office for the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) was declared opened by Major General U.A.B Medawela, Commander, SFHQ-C on Wednesday (22).
Through establishment of this new office, all accounting and auditing requirements of the SFHQ-C, including payment of salaries are decentralized, facilitating all Army wings to acquire relevant services from one particular spot with less inconvenience.
Mr. W.D.R. Weerasundara, Director, Finance, Mr. Nimal Karunatilake, Deputy Director, Finance and a few officers were associated with the opening ceremony.
