SFHQ-C Continues to Live Support to Religious Activities

Several formations under the Security Force Headquarters – Central (SFHQ-C) organized religious programmes to coincide with the Unduwap Full Moon Poya Day (24).

22 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops gave their assistance during 23 and 24 December at the commencement of the Sri Pada Season by carrying the sacred objects and relic casket containing the statue of God ‘Sumana Saman’.

Meanwhile, on the same day another meditation programme took place in Abeypura ‘Sri Sangamiththa’ meditation centre in Nuwara Eliya.

The 3 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) serving under the 112 Brigade in the SFHQ-C gave away its contribution to make the programme a success under the supervision of the Commanding Officer 3 (V) SLSR.
