Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J), dedicated to maintain national security, foster harmony and peace, assist the down-trodden while promoting reconciliation in the peninsula turned 24 years of age during early this week.
Its 24th anniversary celebrations commenced early in the week with religious observances at Anuradhapura Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi and continued afterwards at Sri Nagaviharaya Temple, Nallur Hindu Temple, Church of Our Lady of Refuge and Mohideen Jummah Mosque in Jaffna in sequence.
Remembering invaluable sacrifices made by the members of Armed Forces who served under Security Force Headquarters Jaffna, a special ceremony was organized on the anniversary day (19) to pay floral tribute to fallen war heroes at the Palaly War Heroes’ Monument where floral wreaths were laid.
Senior Officers and Other Ranks along with the Commander Security Forces- Jaffna Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya joined the memorial service, followed by planting of a mango sapling by the Commander Security Force Jaffna in the premises.Nike footwear | Nike Off-White
