Under the guidance of Major General B.K.G.M.L Rodrigo RSP psc IG, the Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF - Cen), a scholarship was awarded to J.P Nayomi Dedunu, daughter of late Lance Corporal J.A.P Ranasinghe, a fallen War Hero of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 14 July 2024 at the Battalion Training School, Kahagolla.
Ms. Nayomi Dedunu, currently a third-year student at the University of Moratuwa, was the recipient of this scholarship. The initiative was sponsored by Mrs. Udani, the Chairperson of Chandanie Bakers Private Limited Bandarawela.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
