SF-C Conducts Awareness Programme on ‘Innovative Thinking’

An awareness programme, poised to impart knowledge on new innovations and highlight the importance of encouraging innovative creations and research took place at the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ - C) on Thursday (03) on the guidelines of Major General P.U.S Vithanage, Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-C) at the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Training School, Diyatalawa.

The programme was conducted by Brigadier D.R Dharmasiri, Deputy Commandant, Research, Analysis and Development section and several veteran lecturers on the subject.

The aim of this programme was to enrich the knowledge of officers and other rankers on different aspects, related to creative thinking, space for better prospects, and new security concerns, and future challenges.

Resource personnel, Mr A. H Priyasiri, Deputy Director General, Sri Lanka National Engineering and Development and Mr Harsha Kulathunga, Intelligence Officer of Sri Lanka National Intelligence Bureau educated the officers on above-mentioned aspects during lecture sessions.

Over 70 Army personnel including Brigadier N.K Wadugodapitiya, Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier I.O Madola, Brigadier Admin and Quartering and several senior officers took part in the programme.
