As of this morning (6), a total of 669 including locally-identified 204 persons from Colombo, 170 from Kandy and 111 from Gampaha were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
By 6.00 this morning (6), the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reported from Minuwangoda garment factory employees and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster stands at 23,670. Meanwhile, 16,682 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients from both Minuwangoda (3,059) and fish market (20,611) clusters have been discharged from hospitals.
Up to yesterday (5), a total of 27,227 persons have been confirmed COVID-19 positive from all over the country, including the dead. 20,089 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 7,001 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.
In the past 24 hours by this morning (6), 652 persons recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. To-date, 137 COVID-19 positive deaths have been reported. Yesterday’s 07 deaths were from Colombo, Colombo prison, Welikada Prison, Bandaragama, Dematagoda and Wellampitiya areas.
By this morning (6), the flight QR 668 from Qatar with 41 passengers, the flight UL 607 from Australia with 36 passengers, the flight UL455 from Japan with 51 passengers and the flight UL 226 from Dubai with 33 passengers have arrived in Colombo. They all were referred to Quarantine Centres (QCs), managed by tri-services upon their arrival after formalities at the airport.
As of this morning (6), 6,730 persons in 61 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (5), 13,741 PCR tests were carried out. Adidas shoes | NIKE HOMME
