The Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) repeating its conduct of the mobile relief service held one more interactive session exclusively for disable War Heroes in Gemunu Watch, Gajaba Regiment, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and Sri Lanka National Guard for two days.
Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, President, SVAB, the lady behind the valuable project met about 85 disable War Heroes of those Regiments for two days (Oct 24 - 25) at the Manning Town Viru Kekulu pre-school auditorium and gave a patient hearing in order to learn their unresolved grievances or any other problems related to them.
During those discussions, financial grants for completion of several War Hero houses were also given away to those War Heroes.
Mrs Chintha Udumalagala, Mrs Preethi Samarathunga, Mrs Imashani Perera and Mrs Iresha Nagasena, all of them, chairpersons in respective Seva Vanitha Units were present there to listen to the War Heroes.
