SRI LANKAN employees serving in the Arab Engineering Bureau in Doha Qatar recently donated a sum of Rs.800, 000/= to the Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB).
Mr. Dayapriya Bandara Nawaratne, Mr. Thilina Samantha Wasana and Mr. Toyal Kumara representing donors handed over the cheque to President SVAB Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya at the Seva Vanitha Office, Army Headquarters.
Money will be used to purchase artificial limbs for War Heroes who had sacrificed their limbs during the recent humanitarian operations.
Vice President SVAB Mrs. Anusha Samarasinghe, Secretary SVAB Mrs. Shirani Weeratunga and Public Coordinating Officer Mrs. Pushpa Liyanage were also present on the occasion.
