Security Forces - West Organizes a Meditation Session at Bodhirajarama Temple

Following the conceptual layout of Major General S.W.M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndcpsc, the Commander, Security Forces Headquarters -West, and Head of Sri Lanka Army Buddhist Association, a meditation programme was successfully conducted at the Bodhirajarama Temple on 27 April 2024.

Security Forces Headquarters - West, organized the event with the coordinating assistance of Major General U.K.D.D.P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, the Commandant of Army War College aiming to nurture the spiritual well-being of both military personnel and civil staff serving at Security Forces - West.

The spiritual session led by Ven. Rajagiriye Ariyanana Thero, witnessed the participation of several monks of adjacent temples and Major General S.W.M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the Commander of Security Forces - West and Mrs. Samangka Fernando along with 2000 devotees.

Senior Officers including the General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division, the General Officer Commanding of 61 Infantry Division, Brigade Commanders, Brigadier General Staff Security Forces - West, Brigadier Admin & Quartering Security Forces - West, Officers, Other Ranks and civilians, participated in the programme.
