The Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) celebrated Vesak Festival 2025 on 12 May 2025 under the guidance of Major General Y.A.B.M. Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander of Security Forces (Jaffna).
Troops of the Security Forces (Jaffna) organised the event by decorating the ‘T’ Junction, nearby roads, and military establishments with Vesak lanterns. A Vesak lantern competition was also took place at the ‘T’ Junction on 13 May 2025.
As part of the celebrations, a dansal programme was conducted, providing free meals to more than 2,000 civilians. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and government officials participated in the event.
