Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces - East, Major General M.K.U.P Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG, a greenhouse project was initiated on 15 April 2024 to enhance the knowledge of Officers and Other Ranks in the agricultural field.
The Commander highlighted the significance of greenhouses in dry zones to mitigate the effects of extreme weather conditions. The project was executed with the support of Regional Project Manager Mahaweli B Zone, Mr. Sugath Weerasinghe.
The General Officer Commander of the 23 Infantry Division, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
