The Security Forces (East) successfully organised a Vesak Zone in Welikanda on 12 May 2025, which included creatively crafted Vesak lanterns and a Dansala offering free refreshments to the public.
The event conducted under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana USAWC psc, and the programme drew a large crowd.
The troops of the 233 Infantry Brigade organised a Wesak Kadala Dansala along Trincomalee Road on 12 May 2025.
The event was conducted under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana USAWC psc and supervision of by the General Officer Commanding the 23 Infantry Division.
