Security Forces - Cen & 11 Div Coordinates Foreign Army Chiefs Visits to Kandy

Major General Rukmal Dias, Commander, Security Forces – Central (SF-Cen) as the one in charge of Kandy area was on hand at the Kandy Dalada Maligawa premises recently when both Nepal's Chief of Army Staff General Rajendra Chhetri and Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and their delegations arrived there to pay homage to the sacred Tooth Relic.

Major General Rukmal Dias, together with Major General Nissanka Ranawana, General Officer Commanding, 11 Division and Major General Sudath Perera, General Officer Commanding, 58 Division welcomed both those Army Chiefs before they were received by the Diyawadana Nilame (chieftain) of the sacred place.

Towards the end of the day's itinerary, both delegations visited the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens.
