With a view to further developing basketball skills and sports among the youth in Jaffna, 512 Brigade under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, organized a Basketball League Tournament with the participation of eight school teams.
The Championship was clinched by the Kokuvil Hindu College team and the runner-up was the team from Angel International School - Manipai. The final encounter was held on Tuesday (25) at Public Basketball Court Old Park in Jaffna.
Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna graced the finals as the Chief Guest and awarded the Championship trophy to the winners at the end.
