Security Force Headquarters (Central) hosted an educative lecture on election-related matters under the guidance of Major General B.K.G.M.L Rodrigo RSP psc IG, Commander of Security Forces (Central) on 23 August 2024.
The lecture was organized by the Directorate of Legal Services, Human Rights, and Humanitarian Law and conducted by Mr. K.S Harshan Perera (Attorney-at-Law). During the lecture, critical topics including the responsibilities of Army personnel during election period, strategies to overcome challenges, and issues related to illegal drugs and activities were discussed. A total of 37 Officers and 226 Other Ranks attended the session.
