Second Workshop on 'Way Forward Strategy' Held at 573 Brigade HQ

The second workshop to develop the analytical thinking and competency of middle-grade officers kicked off at the 573 Brigade Headquarters of the 57 Division on Friday (07) with the participation of Officers of 571 Brigade, 573 Brigade, 7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), 3 Gajaba Regiment (GR) and 9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) battalions under the inspirational guidance of Major General Senarath Yapa, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 57 Division who initiated the project in order to innovate and re-define concepts of operations, new strategic approaches and reach to desired missions.

It is held in line with the way forward strategy of Sri Lanka Army 2020-2025, proposed by the Commander of the Army. Commander 571 Brigade, Brigadier Kapila Dolage conducted a lecture on the theoretical aspects of the way forward strategy of the Army, methods of deriving the mission-oriented tasks conceptualization/operationalization and Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats (SWOT) analysis.

During the lecture 571 Brigade Commander highlighted and briefed about the vision and the core values of the Commander of the Army. The participant Officers were given the brainstorming sessions to derive sound, practical action plans for the battalion. The General Officer Commanding 57 Division, Brigade Commanders of 571, 572, 573 Brigades, and staff officers of 57 Division attended the occasion. latest jordans | Nike Off-White
