SECOND COURSE ON “GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF DEFENCE” BEGINS

A fortnight-long study course on “Governance and Management of Defence,” sponsored by British High Commission in Sri Lanka is now on at Hotel Galadari, Colombo. This is conducted in Sri Lanka for the second time after two years of its first one. It commenced on 07th February 2005and will go on for two weeks.

Major General U.B.L Fernando, Director General, General Staff of Joint Operation Headquarters, Colombo on behalf of the Chief of Defence Staff, spoke to the audience during inaugural sessions at the opening ceremony.

Three Senior Officers of the Armed Forces and a lecturer from the Kotalawala Defence Academy (KDA) Ratmalana are among participants in this course.
