More than 70 students learning at Sinnavilayankaddu Government’s Tamil Mixed School received school books and accessories as gifts, thanks to generosity, extended to 61 Division Headquarters by Brigadier (retd) L.R Navaratne.
A brief ceremony, attended by the donor, Brigadier A. Kariyakarawana, General Officer Commanding, 61 Division, Commander, 611 Brigade Headquarters, Commanding Officer, 1 Sri Lanka National Guard serving the area and a host of state and educational officials, recently took place at the school premises.
