Before School Re-opening SFHQ-West Troops Launch Dengue Prevention Clean-up

Approximately 200 troops from 141 Brigade, 142 Brigade, 581 Brigade, 582 Brigade and 583 Brigade of the 14 Division and 58 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) on the eve of the re-opening of public schools on Monday (3) visited a larger number of schools under their area of responsibility during the weekend (September 1 – 2) and cleaned-up the premises for eradication of dengue.

On the directions of the Commander of the Army, this new project was launched under the close supervision of Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, Commander Security Forces - West, Major General Ralph Nugera, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 14 Division and Major General Sudath Perera, GOC, 58 Division.
