The Non Governmental Organization, ‘Kinder Helper Sri Lanka’, based in Kekirawa, Anuradhapura, at the request of the Army, donated school items and uniforms valued at Rs. 200,000/= to students, resident in Vettalakerni area of 553 Brigade.
With the coordination of Commanding Officer 19 Sri Lanka National Guard (19 SLNG), 39 students of Veththilaikerny Roman Catholic Tamil Mixed school and 25 students of Veththilaikerny Parameswaran Maha Vidyalaya received those school accessories at a recent ceremony, at Veththilaikerny Roman Catholic Tamil Mixed school.
Parents who were present on the occasion were also given dry ration packets during the occasion.
