UK's Northwood-based Rupasinghe sisters, brothers, and their cousins showing their generosity towards the Sri Lanka Army and its commitment towards the eradication of COVID - 19 donated an Ambu ascope worth Rs 790, 000.00 to the Army Hospital Covid ICU on 22nd July 2021.
It was handed over to Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe, Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army by Mrs Sunethra Rupasinghe at the Army Hospital Colombo.
The donation was organised by Brigadier Dilrukshi Munasinghe, Consultant Radiologist at the Army Hospital Colombo.
Brigadier Chrisantha Fernando - Director General Army Health Services, Brigadier Jude Perera - Director Maintenance Army Hospital Colombo, Colonel Champaka Aththanayake Director Army Hospital and Colonel Champika Abeysinghe, Consultant Anesthetist Army Hospital Colombo were also present during this donation.
