A group of senior and junior prefects of Galle Richmond College, attended a two-day workshop on ‘Leadership Development’, conducted by the 58 Division Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters – West (SFHQ-West) in Bossa, Galle during 27-28 December.
During the workshop, those 23 prefects had the rare chance of interacting with several senior Army Officers and professional experts. They also exchanged views on different aspects of leadership, its values and practical approaches.
The workshop discussed a range of topics, including team work, team-building, decision-making, social etiquettes, ethics, cooperation, leadership, etc, opening up new vistas of leadership skills.
Major General Sudath Perera, General Officer Commanding, 58 Division attended the inaugural session of the workshop as the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering.
Senior Officers, Retired Officers and Professionals delivered lectures during the programme.
