Major General Manjula Manathunga, Commandant, Ranaviru Apparels Yakkala, one of the dedicated Senior Officers, produced by the Gemunu Watch (GW) on the eve of his retirement from the Army had a courtesy audience with the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva at the latter’s office in the Army Headquarters on Friday (17).
Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva who despite heavy workload, took time off to invite him shared a few thoughts with him and commended him for his exemplary work, particularly with the Ranaviru Apparels where hundreds of disabled War Heroes are engaged in productive garment industry.
The outgoing Senior Officer also thanked the Commander of the Army for his wishes and the thoughtfulness.
