Retired Senior Officer Meets Commander to Present Copy of His Book

Major General (Retd) M.M Sumanasena USP of the Gemunu Watch (GW) this afternoon (29) called on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage at the Army Headquarters and presented a copy of his new book, 'Nonewathi Idiriyata' (නොනැවති ඉදිරියට) which is also the cherished motto of the Highlanders, 'Tarry Not Forward' (Maniwatte Abhikkama).

Towards the end of the interaction, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, symbolized the goodwill of the Sri Lanka Army by awarding a memento to the senior veteran.
