Retired Senior Officer Authors Own Book & Presents it to Army Chief

Major General D.G Hewage (Rtd) RSP on Thursday (16 Nov) presented a copy of his book, ‘Deperamunaka Satan’ (Battles of Two Fronts) to the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu after calling at the Army HQ.

The book, authored by Major General D.G Hewage (Rtd) RSP documents noteworthy experiences and milestones of the author during the height of the war against terrorism before May 2009. In addition, it pays tribute to the bravery and gallantry of War Heroes and their unparalleled contribution for liberation of the motherland from clutches of LTTE terrorism.

The Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, appreciative of his work complimented him on his attempt and wished him good luck with his project.
