Restored New Ayurvedic Hospital Vested in Public

The 574 Brigade troops and 3 Gajaba Regiment troops jointly restored the war-affected former Olumadu Ayurvedic Hospital in the Mullaittivu District and vested it in the civilians during a ceremony on Thursday (9).

The old building that existed during the time when LTTE terrorists were controlling the area was used by the terrorists as a hideout. At the time, the troops were pulling out from civil and state buildings after the war, the 532 Brigade at that time vacated the premises as per the government’s directions.

On Thursday (9) Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) declared opened the 574 Brigade and 3 Gajaba Regiment troops restored new  Ayurvedic Hospital and officially handed it over to Dr. Mohan Ras during a brief ceremony.
