Renovated Varnavil Sri Murukkanda Vidyalaya Building Handed Over to Students

With financial assistance of ‘Pedistro’ Organization, Varnavil Sri Murukanda School main building in Puthukudiyiruppu Educational Zone was renovated by troops serving 23 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) of 682 Brigade in 68 Division under Security Force Headquarters, Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT).

Extending whole-hearted support to the provincial education, the programme was launched under guidance of Commanding Officer, 23 SLNG.

After the renovation, the school was handed to the students during a simple ceremony on February 18.

Pastor J Perera and Pastor P Rathnayake of ‘Pedistro’ Organization, Senior Officers, Teachers and students attended the occasion.
